See the Black Friday specialPlastic got into places it was never supposed to reach.
Scientists have found microplastics in human brains, hearts, and placentas.
A Stanford Medicine article describes how tiny plastic fragments have made their way into food, water, and air, and from there into the body. The unsettling part is how ordinary the routes are. Eating. Drinking. Breathing.
What is clear is that plastic pollution is no longer just a photo of a beach covered in bottles. It is a household question.
So where do you start with a problem that widespread?
With the dissolvable plastic that touches your families dishes.
Your dishwasher is a good place to start.
Look at a standard dishwasher pod. The detergent is wrapped in a film that dissolves in the wash. That film is made with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), a water-soluble plastic.
You need detergent that gets dinner off your plates. That should not require a dose wrapped in plastic.
You already tried the clean stuff. It left film on everything.
Here is the part nobody puts on the front of the pouch.
Plenty of people have made this switch once already. They bought a minimalist “clean” tablet, ran a load, and held a glass up to the light. Cloudy. A gritty white film across the top rack. Half the load rewashed by hand, then a quiet trip back to the conventional pods, feeling a little defeated and a little guilty.
Hard water makes it worse. Formulas that skip the hard-water chemistry spot and film in exactly the places most of the country lives.
That failure was never about being plastic-free. It was about being under-built. A tablet that leaves out the plastic also has to leave in the parts that make detergent work.
Two enzymes take dinner apart.
A hard-water formula keeps the glass clear.
Think of an enzyme as a tiny pair of scissors. Each one cuts one kind of mess into pieces small enough to rinse away.
Amylase
Breaks down starches: rice, pasta, oatmeal, potato, the bowl that turned to cement.
Oxi stain-fighting power
Lifts the stains enzymes don't touch: tea rings, coffee, tomato sauce.
A five-ingredient hard-water package
Citric acid, salt, MGDA, PESA, glycerol: softens the water, cuts grease, and stops the mineral deposits that leave glasses cloudy and bowls chalky.
A full 10-gram tablet
Carries a real dose of all of the above. One tablet, one load, no doubling up.
Both work at lower temperatures, so the eco cycle is fair game. No chlorine bleach and no scalding water required.
Shop dishwasher tablets✦ 13 ingredients. Every one of them on the label. ✦
Made without the things you were hoping to leave behind.
Pressed, not wrapped. There is no pod film because there is no pod. Nothing to unwrap, nothing plastic to dissolve into the wash water.
Fragrance-free by design. Clean dishes smell like nothing. A lemon smell on a plate is perfume that stayed behind.
Tablets come in a resealable kraft-paper pouch with a thin plant-based lining instead of a plastic tub.
Never made with:
- PVA pod film
- Acrylic copolymers
- Chlorine bleach
- Added fragrance
- Synthetic dyes
- Phosphates
- Parabens or phthalates
- SLS
The whole routine is one tablet.
Drop one tablet in the detergent dispenser. No unwrapping, no measuring.
Close it and run your usual cycle. Eco and low-temp cycles included.
Reseal the pouch. Get on with your evening.

The questions people ask before they switch.
What comes in The Black Friday Clean Special?
Three 60-tablet dishwasher packs and one 200-load pack of laundry detergent sheets. Choose the laundry scent after you select the special above.
How do I choose the laundry scent?
Select The Black Friday Clean Special above. A scent menu appears on that offer before you add it to your cart.
The last clean tablet I tried left a white film on every glass. Why would this be different?
Fair. That happened to a lot of people. The film usually isn't about being plastic-free; it is minerals in hard water that an under-built formula never dealt with. This tablet carries a five-ingredient hard-water package (citric acid, salt, MGDA, PESA, glycerol) built to stop spotting and film, plus a full 10-gram dose. And your purchase is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee.
It doesn't smell like anything. Is it even working?
It isn't supposed to smell. Fragrance is perfume left behind on plates and glasses, and “fragrance” on a label can cover ingredients that are never listed. The proof is a clear glass, not a lemon scent. If you want your dishes to smell like citrus when they come out, this isn't the tablet for you.
Aren't pods already fine? The film dissolves.
It does dissolve. Pod film is made with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), a water-soluble plastic. There is no film here because there is no pod: a pressed tablet goes straight in the tray.
Will it work on the eco cycle? My machine barely heats the water.
Yes. Enzymes are the low-temperature specialists. Protease and amylase do their work without scalding water, which is exactly why the formula suits eco and low-temp cycles.
I have well water. Will it still work?
Hard water is what the five-ingredient package (citric acid, salt, MGDA, PESA, glycerol) is built for. If your water is unusually hard, treat the first load as the test and check a glass against the light. Your purchase is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Do I have to pre-rinse?
Scrape, don't rinse. Protease and amylase need something to work on; a plate with dinner on it is the job they are built for.
How does the buy more, save more offer work?
Buy 1 dishwasher tablet pack at regular price, 2 at 10% off, or 3 at 20% off plus free shipping. The Black Friday Clean Special pairs 3 tablet packs with one 200-load laundry sheet pack at 30% off plus free shipping. Every option is a one-time purchase.
Which deal gets free shipping?
Buy 3 and The Black Friday Clean Special include free shipping. Buy 1 and Buy 2 use normal $4.99 shipping.
What is actually in it?
Thirteen ingredients, every one listed on the pouch: two cleaning enzymes, oxi power, plant-derived soaps, and the five-ingredient hard-water package. Nothing rides in under “fragrance.” Wash'd Dishwasher Detergent Tablets
One tablet. One load.
Nothing to unwrap.
If you can have a powerful, 100% plastic-free dishwasher tablet, why keep buying the plastic-wrapped one?
Put one in the tray. Run the load. Unload without holding anything up to the light.
Save 30% when you pair three dishwasher tablet packs with 200 laundry loads for Black Friday.
